The Dishwasher position involves ensuring the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility, sorting and rinsing dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and cooking utensils for the dish machine, sorting and stacking clean dishes, changing dishwater when needed, washing necessary items by hand, removing trash and garbage, filling/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions, and wiping up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.

Responsibilities

Ensure that dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility.
Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and cooking utensils and place them in racks through dish machine.
Sort and stack clean dishes.
Change dishwater when needed.
Wash necessary items by hand.
Remove trash and garbage.
Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
Wipe up any spills to ensure that kitchen floors remain dry.
