About The Position

Ten Five Hospitality is launching a new restaurant and lounge concept in Georgetown and is seeking experienced professionals. The Dishwasher is a vital part of the team, responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, glassware, and pots are clean and sanitized, contributing to an elevated dining experience.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.

Responsibilities

  • Load, operate, and unload the dish machine according to proper procedures.
  • Monitor water temperature and chemical levels to ensure sanitary wash cycles.
  • Follow sanitation guidelines set forth by the Health Department.
  • Follow weekly cleaning schedule to maintain the standard of the restaurant.
  • Keep the dish room clean and organized.
  • Remove trash and recycling and transport to designated areas.
  • Communicate with Chefs and Management about any maintenance concerns.
  • Clean all restroom facilities and other assigned areas before the restaurant is open to the public.
  • Sweep and mop floors, wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas.
  • Stock food, beverages and supplies as directed by the Chef.
  • Proper handling of food.
  • Ensure clean items are properly sorted, stored, and returned to service areas in a timely manner.
  • Support kitchen staff with basic prep, storage, labeling, and organization when needed.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock tools and supplies for the next shift.
  • Maintain temperature logs; keep walk-in cooler/freezer organized.
  • All other duties assigned.
