About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and cookware while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role supports the overall efficiency of kitchen operations and ensures compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Reliable and punctual attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen sanitation standards.
  • Food Handler’s Certification (obtain prior to start date).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines and manual methods.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dish room, kitchen floors, garbage areas, and equipment storage.
  • Dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste appropriately throughout shifts.
  • Restock clean items in designated kitchen areas.
  • Support kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning as directed.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
  • Notify supervisor of any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
