About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen by ensuring that all kitchenware, tableware, and equipment are clean, sanitized, and ready for use, helping the food & beverage staff maintain a smooth and efficient operation. This role is vital in maintaining hygiene and food safety standards and supporting the food & beverage staff in a high volume environment while also assisting with basic food prep when applicable.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimal work experience
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Exceptional time management skills
Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures
Must be available on weekends, nights, and weekdays
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in food industry preferred

Responsibilities

Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, returning them to their proper location, and resetting dining areas.
Preparing dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations
Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, pans, mixers, etc.
Unloading and storing deliveries
Sweeping and mopping floors, especially if items are broken or spilled
Regularly monitoring and taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans when needed to ensure proper food safety
Supporting other staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed
Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures
Wash hands regularly after performing any task that deals with waste disposal, chemicals, dirty dishes, or similar. If assisting in kitchen prep, hands must be washed prior to doing so
All other duties as assigned by management
