About The Position
The Dishwashers are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. Additionally, dishwashers are expected to keep the dishwashing area clean and safe.
Requirements
- Restaurant or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
- Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season
- Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) pounds
- Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
- Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine
- Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly
- Clean food prep stations and equipment
