About The Position

The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all dishes, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils using machine and manual cleaning methods. This role ensures that the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and organized, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

No experience required (we're willing to train).
High school degree or equivalent.
Bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling & prolonged standing.
Eye/hand coordination & visual concentration on equipment.
Concentrated reading and writing.
Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
Variation in temperature from hot to cold.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the industrial dishwasher.
Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary.
Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
Clean tea, coffee, and soda machines daily.
Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources & store clean dishes properly.
Always follow sanitation policies.
Aid prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed.
Perform opening, closing and side work.
Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately.
Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party.
Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment for self, coworkers, and guests.

This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days. These actions help reduce Scope 3 emissions, lead by example, and ensure adequate parking for our guests.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.
