About The Position
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Dishwasher Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment across assigned facilities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the overall appearance and sanitation of the workplace, contributing to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors. A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a customer service or food services support role
- Experience in a corporate environment
- Possession or willingness to obtain WA food handler’s card
- Previous work experience in large team settings
Responsibilities
- Set up and work a dishwashing machine
- Help the team meet time and quality standards set by the supervisor
- Monitor the quality of cleaned dishes
- Maintain a clean and safe workstation
- Maintain cleaning of the kitchen equipment as needed
- Effectively communicate with your team
- Ensure all dishwashing chemicals are stocked and functioning properly
- Remove recycling, waste, and food waste from kitchens
- Maintain organization of dish and equipment storage areas
- Light prep work and food handling support as needed
- Ability to carry large heavy items, such as dishes in tubs or trays unassisted (up to 50 lbs.)
- Ability to stand for long periods – up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to work all shifts Monday-Friday
- Ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of objects
