Job Duties and Responsibilities: We are looking for a courteous, customer-focused Dishwasher who is committed to providing customers with the best service possible. Dishwasher will clean and prepare dishes and wash glassware when necessary. To succeed as a Dishwasher, you should be polite, prompt, and knowledgeable. Additionally, you should be able to meet the physical demands of the position while providing customers with the best possible experience.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and math skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to comprehend and follow all company procedures and regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
- A courteous and efficient approach to handling customer requests, questions, and complaints
Responsibilities
- Operate the industrial dishwasher
- Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
- Empty and clean all trash receptacles
- Clean iced tea, coffee and milkshake machines daily
- Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources
- Clean dish storage
- Follow sanitation policies at all times
- Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
- Perform opening, closing and side work
- Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
- Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate part
