About The Position

Job Summary Wash dishes, cooking utensils, pots and pans using machine and manual cleaning methods. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sort and rinse dirty dishes and place them in racks of dish machine. Wash pots, pans, trays and other large cooking containers by hand. Sort and stack clean dishes and deliver them to appropriate areas. Fill and empty sinks with proper cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards. Perform other general restaurant cleaning duties as directed. Wipe up spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry. Perform other tasks as assigned by manager.

Requirements

  • High energy and stamina required.
  • Able to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively.
  • Must be able to read labels on chemicals and follow product directives.
  • Able to identify and perform other tasks during non-busy times.
  • Must understand and follow workplace safety standards.
  • Treat people courteously and respond in a helpful manner.
  • Maintain high standards in the quality & consistency of work.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand, bend, climb, lift, kneel, reach & push repetitively.
  • Must be tolerant of using strong and pungent cleaning products.
  • Hours may be late afternoon and nights, including weekends & holidays.
  • Applicants must be at least age 16.
