Dishwasher Job DetailsJob Location: Watford City, ND 58854Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolDishwasher What you will do: The dishwasher provides assistance in all food related functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Responsible for proper washing and sanitizing of all dishes. Must always keep dish area clean. Emptying all garbage at the end of the shift. Responsible for keeping track of dishwasher temperatures, cleaning and deliming the dishwasher. When dishes are dry, must put away all dishes. Responsible for cleaning hood over the dishwasher. Must drain and clean out dishwasher in between meals. Help with food prep if needed. Support other staff members when needed. Maintaining all chemicals used in the dish area. Proper use of industrial dishwashing machine Treats all residents with dignity and respect. Promotes and protects all residents’ rights. Establishes a culture of compliance by adhering to all facility policies and procedures. Complies with standards of business conduct, and state/federal regulations and guidelines. Follows appropriate safety and hygiene measures at all times to protect residents and themselves. Maintains confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written, and electronic communications. Reports noncompliance with policies, procedures, regulations, or breaches in confidentiality to appropriate personnel. Reports any retaliation or discrimination to HR or compliance officer. Reports any allegations of abuse, neglect, misappropriation of property, exploitation, or mistreatment of residents to supervisor and/or administrator. Protects residents from abuse, and cooperates with all investigations. Reports any occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and/or hazardous chemicals in accordance with facility policy. Participates in all life safety and emergency drills and trainings. Fulfills responsibilities as assigned during implementation or activation of the facility’s emergency plan. Reports work-related injuries and illnesses immediately to supervisor. Follows established infection control policies and procedures. As a condition of employment, completes all assigned training and skills competency. QualificationsWhat you will need: Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to understand and follow directions. Ability to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence. Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced. Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff. Detail-oriented and thorough. Dishwasher experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods walking or standing. Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 60 pounds at a time. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed. Subject to call-back during emergency conditions. Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently. Must frequently immerse hands in water. Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment. Education and Experience: Dishwasher experience preferred.
