About The Position
The Dishwasher’s main responsibility is to make sure dishes and utensils are returned to the kitchen, cleaned, sanitized, and always stored in proper designated areas. Reports to: Executive Chef or Executive Director ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES The essential duties and responsibilities described below are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the basic functions of the position. Requirements
- Must have criminal record clearance.
- Must be at least 16 years of age
Responsibilities
- Safely wash, sanitize, and dry all kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Store clean dishes and utensils in respective designated storage areas.
- Ensure dishes and utensils are returned to the kitchen after mealtimes.
- Maintain a reasonable pace to prevent back up of dirty dishes.
- Assist other staff with general kitchen cleanup.
- Provide great service to residents.
- Promote a positive team-oriented environment.
- Abide by safety practices in place.
