About The Position

The Dishwasher is a key part of the kitchen team at The Foundry Room, helping ensure the operation runs smoothly behind the scenes. This role is essential to maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards while supporting the culinary team during every service.

Requirements

  • Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability with a team-first mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Willingness to follow procedures and take direction from kitchen leadership.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dish area and back-of-house spaces.
  • Support the kitchen team by ensuring a steady supply of clean cookware and service items.
  • Assist with trash removal, recycling, and proper disposal of waste.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
  • Assist with basic kitchen cleaning and closing duties as assigned.
  • Communicate with kitchen teammates to support efficient service flow.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.
