About The Position

Job Summary: To safely and efficiently maintain and orderly dishwashing area and to coordinate with fellow associates the efficient processing of dishes, silverware, glass, and cooking equipment through the dish machine or 3 compartment sinks. Storeall items in the appropriate location. Essential Job Responsibilities: Ensure an environment in which high standards of associate service. • Responsible for the cleaning dishes, silverware, glass, and cooking equipment following equipment specifications. Ensure the dishwashing equipment is inspected before use and any deficiencies are corrected before use . Ensure that the dish washing area is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion. Assist with other duties when needed. Report any maintenance or safety deficiencies in a timely manner. Comply with all safety requirements of the job and company policies. Respond to supervisor and co-worker requests within 10 minutes of the call. When not possible a supervisor should be informed. Identify damaged items and remove from use for supervisor inspection. Put the needs ofthe customer first while maintaining a positive attitude. Acknowledge all guests and co-workers within 15 feet and speak to them within 5 feet. Requirements

  • Able to follow directions to meet the goals of the daily tasks.
  • Good co-worker relations.
  • Ability to set priorities.
  • 1 year's kitchen or similar industry preferred
  • Will train on the job.
