About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen by washing dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. This role supports overall kitchen operations and ensures compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Positive attitude and strong team player.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a dishwasher or in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
  • Ensure cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, surfaces, floors, and trash areas.
  • Properly dispose of garbage and recycling throughout the shift.
  • Organize and store clean dishes and utensils appropriately.
  • Maintain a safe and organized dishwashing station.
  • Refill cleaning supplies and notify supervisors of low inventory or equipment issues.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures as outlined by The Golden Hog policies.
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic prep or stocking tasks as requested.
  • Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
