Position Purpose: Responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment, and food/cooking utensils in a clean and orderly condition.   • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Education Level – High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience – None required.
  • Ability to maintain excellent safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Class B Gaming License (As provided for a nominal fee with a clean background check)
  • Candidates for all positions must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Applicants must have a California I.D., a Social Security Card, and a Birth Certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
  • Hold inverted glasses over revolving brushes to clean inside surfaces.
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays.
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators and cutting boards and kitchen equipment
  • Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.
  • Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
  • Sort bottles, and break disposable ones in bottle crushing machine, if applicable.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
  • Assist in set up and cleanup of banquet tables when necessary.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
