About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and
ensuring smooth operations in the kitchen by cleaning dishes, kitchen equipment,
and maintaining a sanitary workspace. You will support the kitchen staff by
ensuring they have clean tools and work areas, while also adhering to health and
safety regulations. This is an excellent entry-level position for anyone
interested in working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and safety in a kitchen environment.
• No previous experience is required, but experience in a kitchen or similar setting is a plus.
• Must be able to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash Dishes and Utensils: Clean plates, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using an industrial dishwasher and by hand when necessary.
• Sanitize Work Areas: Maintain clean and sanitized workspaces including dishwashing stations, sinks, counters, and floors.
• Trash and Recycling: Empty garbage and recycling bins, and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
• Restock Supplies: Ensure that clean dishes, cutlery, and other kitchen tools are readily available for kitchen staff and servers.
• Assist in Kitchen Maintenance: Help with general kitchen tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning kitchen equipment, and organizing storage areas.
• Comply with Health and Safety Guidelines: Follow proper food safety and sanitation practices to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Support Kitchen Staff: Assist chefs and other kitchen staff with light prep work or additional cleaning duties as needed.
