Requirements
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service is a plus
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, dish racks, and surrounding surfaces
- Sort and organize clean items for proper storage and use
- Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks as needed to support overall sanitation efforts
- Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils during service hours
