About The Position
The Oaks of Clearwater is seeking a Part Time Dishwasher for our Facility. We are a 15-story retirement community located at 420 Bay Ave in downtown Clearwater. We have IL, AL, MC and a 60 bed Rehab Center. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to assist our Food & Dining Team! The duties and responsibilities of the Dishwasher include cleaning and sanitizing according to established policy and procedures, as well as maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, all in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the administrator, dietitian and/ or food service supervisor or Food and Dining Director. The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties. The following job functions have been determined to be essential to the position of Dishwasher. Because of fluctuations in workload demands, as well as tasks often overlapping, frequency ranges and percentages vary by assignment, day of week, day, evening or night shift, etc. However, low frequency and percentage or duration of time spent on a particular task may not indicate lack of importance. Requirements
- For the safety, health and welfare of the residents, employees and others, the Dishwasher will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- The Oaks of Clearwater requires the dishwasher to have a minimum of six months dietary experience working in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility or other related medical facility.
- A Dishwasher must be capable of lifting a minimum of fifty pounds.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning all dishes, pots and pans, following all facility policy and procedures
- Ensuring restrooms are clean and well stocked
- Ensuring floors are clean and dry
- Emptying all trash cans in kitchen area as needed
- All duties assigned by the chef, sous chef or lead utility person
- All duties in the dining manual
- All other duties assigned.
