About The Position

This Dishwasher position involves the essential tasks of washing pots, pans, dishes, and utensils, alongside maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of floors and work areas. The role also includes assisting with general cleaning, organizing storage areas, and potentially food preparation. Key aspects of the role involve collaboration with catering for food delivery and event setup, working effectively under time constraints, and supporting the culinary team and dish room operators. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for customer service, a positive attitude, dependability, and strong communication skills within a team environment. Adherence to HACCP practices for dishware and food handling, as well as strict compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies, are mandatory. The role requires physical stamina, including standing for up to 8 hours and lifting at least 25lbs, and the ability to perform under pressure during peak periods.

Responsibilities

  • Wash pots, pans, dishes, and utensils
  • Clean and maintain floors
  • Assist with general cleaning and sanitation as assigned
  • Maintain storage areas and equipment as assigned
  • May be asked or trained to prep food
  • Work with catering to deliver food and assist with the setup of events
  • Support the Chef and culinary team when needed
  • Support dish room operators as needed
  • Setup pot sink correctly according to HACCP practices and wash pots and pans as required, putting them away as them as directed
  • Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment
  • Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and service areas as required
  • Remove garbage as directed in a safe manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Must follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents
