About The Position
Phoenix at Milton is seeking a Dishwasher to join their team. The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food and supplies. This role also involves janitorial duties in various dining services areas including the Dining Room, Bistro, and other associated dining activities. The individual must handle all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards, complying with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/ GED required
- One (1) year job related experience
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the dish and pot washing area
- Operates dish machine(s) according to Food Safety Standards
- Operates dishwashing to properly wash and sanitize all dishes and china, silverware, glassware, utensils and cookware
- Responsible for the set up and maintenance of the pot and pan sink according to Food Safety Standards
- Clean large and small production equipment as directed such as but not limited to: Stoves, Ovens, Fryers, Microwaves, Mixers, Slicers, Refrigerator, Freezers, Work tables, Prep sinks, Hoods and ventilation screens
