The dishwasher primarily supports the Back of House (BOH) staff in various aspects. A dishwasher must demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and use organizational skills to keep dish area neat, clean and organized. The dishwasher is also to assist in stocking, cleaning and other basic side work tasks while upholding BOH service standards. A dishwasher must help to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment. In addition, they must be able to interact with guests – remaining friendly and flexible—resulting in the best guest experience possible. The guest and their experience will always be paramount.

Ensuring flatware, glassware, china, etc. are properly washed and put away
Assisting in various BOH tasks
Basic cleaning
Stocking
Emptying garbage and recycling bins
Maintaining chemical cleaners at appropriate levels
Properly cleaning and maintaining equipment to ensure equipment is operating properly
Reporting any equipment issues to the BOH management team
Completes tasks for each shift according to the needs of the restaurant.

Demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift 50lbs. while adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines
Attention to detail and ability to stay organized
Effective communication skills
Provides support to BOH staff while adhering to all safety and sanitation, and company policies and procedures.
Interacts with the staff and guests in a positive manner as to achieve our desired result of achieving 100% guest satisfaction.
Any combination of education and experience equivalent that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates.
All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well groomed appearance (specific standards available in our employee training manual)

High school education is preferred.
For example: Local health department certification and state liquor control board certificate.
CPR certification and/or first aid training preferred.
