About The Position

SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a full-time dishwasher for a private boarding school in Middletown, Rhode Island. Here, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences that delight the senses, inspire minds, and foster community. We are seeking an individual who enjoys working cooperatively on a team and who also can be successful working individually. We are looking for a person with a fun personality to engage with our guests. This is fast-paced, on a beautiful campus with a kind community of students and faculty. Start date will be January 5, 2026. The position has summers and holidays off, following the school schedule. Join our team and experience all the benefits we have to offer.

Requirements

Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.
Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile
Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.
Rotate products in inventory.
Maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled dishes.
Set-up and break down the dish machine and sanitizing equipment.
Bag all garbage and boxes and disposing these in appropriate dumpsters.
Adhere to SAGE's safety and allergy prevention policies.
Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.
Endure exposure to extreme temperatures; intense heat and freezing cold.
