About The Position

The dishwasher position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards while ensuring the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Customer/client focus
Must work well in team atmosphere
Reliable with strong time management skills
Attention to detail
Reliable transportation to/from work
Must meet US Coast Guard physical examination requirements
Must submit to pre-employment drug testing and will then be subject to random screenings as per the US Coast Guard

Responsibilities

Sort and rinse dirty dishes, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
Sort and stack clean dishes
All clean dishes are properly organized and placed in the correct location
Wash pans and trays by hand
Ability to set up and break down dishwashing area
Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
Sweep/mop floors
Assemble/disassemble dish machine
Wipe up any spills and ensure kitchen floors remain dry
Notify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures
Other duties as directed
