About The Position

The Commodore Bar & Restaurant is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards in the kitchen to support smooth daily operations. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Requirements

• Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish station, kitchen floors, and trash areas
• Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash and recycling
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in accordance with company policies and local regulations
• Support kitchen staff as needed during service and closing duties
• Report equipment issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly
