About The Position

Position Overview: The Dishwasher is responsible for the sanitation of the general kitchen area which includes but is not limited to kitchen equipment, small wares, glasses, and utensils.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Must have a valid County Food Handler Card on file with Craft Culinary Concepts and in your possession for each event worked
  • Must be able to understand and follow specific instructions for assigned function
  • Must have a H.S Diploma or equivalent unless currently enrolled will consider prior experience in food industry
  • Must complete all pre-employment forms, and successfully pass a background check
  • Must be able to work with a group as well as independently
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced high stress environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and be on feet for several hours
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in wet floor conditions, extreme temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise

Responsibilities

  • usually working after events to wash pots, pans, silverware and other tools used in the kitchen with a commercial dishwasher or by hand
  • informing supervisors of product levels for normal use in the function described
  • maintain an organized immediate work area
  • assist with cleaning and organization throughout the kitchen during and after events
  • sweeping
  • mopping
  • trash removal
  • storing of clean dishes in the proper area
  • involved in some basic food preparation tasks as needs dictate
