Under the direction of the Food Service Manager, responsible for loading, operating and unloading automatic dishwasher. Use necessary soaps or cleaning solutions to add to machine for cleaning purposes. Gather soiled pots, pans, utensils, cooking equipment, etc. and put in dishwasher. Wash by hand any tools or utensils that can not be put into dishwasher. Clean and clear tables in dining area. Reasonable and predictable attendance is essential. Clean grill area with appropriate solutions such as degreaser or disinfectant, mop floor and wipe down all equipment. Remove all waste from kitchen and dining area containers as needed to outdoor receptacles. Maintain store rooms in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. Secure back entrance/exit door at night. Re-stock soda bag in boxes. May assist Cook or Deli/Prep Person in preparation of hot and cold food items as needed. Maintain store rooms and café areas to high cleanliness and organizational standards.
