About The Position

A Dishwasher in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) ensures the sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for residents by operating dish machines, cleaning kitchen areas, and handling waste. They are essential for infection control, strictly adhering to dietary department and health codes while supporting meal service. Location We are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road, Quincy, CA 95971. Compensation Compensation Philosophy: We have 6 pay increments on our pay scales to compensate staff for 6 years of relevant experience. Compensation range: $18.63- $23.78

Requirements

  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions; basic reading and communication skills.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods, lift, bend, and work in a warm, sometimes wet environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Dishwasher experience.
  • Obtain a California Food Handler Card or local health department certification.

Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial dishwashers, ensuring proper water temperatures and chemical concentrations (parts per million) are maintained.
  • Scrape, rinse, and rack soiled dishes, trays, pots, pans, and silverware; hand-wash larger or specialized items.
  • Properly store, dry, and rotate dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated areas.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors, clean worktables, sinks, walls, and refrigerators.
  • Empty trash containers, clean garbage cans, and replace liners.
