Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment preferred; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with kosher dietary laws is a plus; kosher kitchen orientation will be provided.
• Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred or willingness to obtain.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean, sanitize, and organize all dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils efficiently throughout each shift.
• Maintain the dish station and surrounding areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition at all times.
• Assist the chef and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks, stocking, and other operational needs as directed.
• Support Dining Room Associates during service — including running items, clearing dishes from the dining room, and helping reset tables between seatings.
• Monitor and replenish dish and supply inventory; communicate shortages to the appropriate supervisor.
• Dispose of waste properly and maintain compliance with sanitation and food safety standards.
• Contribute to a kitchen culture of teamwork, mutual respect, and shared accountability.
• Adhere to kosher kitchen protocols and all applicable health and safety regulations.
