About The Position

Job Title: Dishwasher Immediate Supervisor: Executive Chef Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt Location: 4015 Via Laguna, Santa Barbara, CA, 93110 Primary Responsibilities: Washing dishes, pots, pans and utensils, clean kitchen, minor food prep, buffet set up and take down, garbage and recycle. Essential Functions: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwasher. Clean tableware. Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition. Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment. Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas. Store supplies or goods in kitchens or storage areas. Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas. Sweep and scrub floors. Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars. Store supplies or goods in kitchens or storage areas. Stock serving stations or dining areas with food or supplies. Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving. Clean garbage cans with water. Move equipment, supplies or food to required locations. Set up banquet tables. Arrange tables or dining areas. This is a general description. You may be required to perform other duties as requested by your manager.

Requirements

  • Food safety certification
  • Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
  • Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Continuous repetitive motions.
  • Work in occasional hot environment.
