The Dishwasher is responsible for the sanitation of the general kitchen area which includes but is not limited to kitchen equipment, small wares, glasses, and utensils. The Dishwasher is responsible for usually working after events to wash pots, pans, silverware and other tools used in the kitchen with a commercial dishwasher or by hand. The Dishwasher is also responsible for informing supervisors of product levels for normal use in the function described. The Dishwasher must maintain an organized immediate work area, as well as assist with cleaning and organization throughout the kitchen during and after events. This includes, but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and the storing of clean dishes in the proper area. The Dishwasher may be involved in some basic food preparation tasks as needs dictate.
