About The Position
Parkwest Casino is seeking an experienced Dishwasher to perform dishwashing duties. This position is vital to back-of-house operations, assisting line cooks, prep cooks, and servers by ensuring clean serving items such as plates, bowls, glasses, utensils, and ramekins are always readily available. The ideal candidate must work well with others, be punctual, and maintain a clean environment, providing superior service in an exciting atmosphere.
Requirements
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- Open availability
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Thrives in a fast paced environment with minimal down time and supervision
- Responsible for cleanliness around the facility if a Janitor is not on duty
- Learn and understand how to properly wash possible hazardous items (example: knives) before working first shift
- Ability to work with a team and portray an upbeat, professional demeanor during shift
- Ability to promote positive interactions with guests through sincere greeting and communications
