About The Position

We are a collection of individuals who care and work together each day to create meaningful experiences. https://www.heirloomgroup.com Five Star BBQ is looking for an evening dishwasher, Four shifts a week, 3:30 pm to close, typically 10-10.30 p.m.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Team player mentality with good communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing: Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and handwash in three-compartment sink to clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen items.
• Ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
• Sort and organize cleaned dishes and utensils in designated storage areas.
• Ensure proper storage practices to maintain a well-organized and efficient kitchen.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant staff to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and servers to manage the flow of dirty and clean dishes.
• Support kitchen staff by keeping work areas clean and sanitized.
• Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste following proper procedures.
• Maintain Equipment: Keep dishwashing equipment clean and well-maintained.
• Report any issues with equipment functionality to the manager.
• Follow proper safety and sanitation guidelines, including the use of protective equipment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Time Management: Work efficiently to handle a high volume of dishes during busy periods.
• Manage time effectively to ensure a constant supply of clean dishes for kitchen operations.
• Assist in other kitchen tasks as needed during peak hours or when required.
• Be willing to take on additional responsibilities to support the overall functioning of the restaurant.
