Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using both dish machines and hand washing methods, ensuring all items are spotless and food safe.
- Organize and properly store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated locations so they are immediately accessible to the kitchen team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish station, sinks, floors, and surrounding kitchen areas in accordance with Neighborly’s sanitation and safety standards.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles regularly and transport waste to designated areas to keep the kitchen clean and functional.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing walls, cleaning floor mats, and other sanitation projects to maintain a safe working environment.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food prep, restocking, or other tasks during slower periods or when additional help is needed.
- Uphold all company food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety policies at all times.
