The position involves cleaning, sanitizing, and properly stocking all dishes, pots, pans, flatware, and glassware in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The individual will maintain the cleanliness of the entire kitchen, including dry storage and walk-in cooler, and will be responsible for sweeping and mopping. Additionally, the role includes emptying kitchen trash receptacles and properly disposing of garbage, performing daily cleaning tasks such as cleaning dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods, and exhaust systems, and storing all dishes and other wares in their proper areas. Safe work practices must be incorporated into job performance, and the individual will be expected to clean, wash, and sanitize all dishes and clean the kitchen after closing. Other duties may be required as needed.
