About the position
Coaxum's Low Country Cuisine is seeking a reliable and hardworking dishwasher to join their vibrant dining establishment. The role involves maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas while providing exceptional service to guests. This part-time position offers opportunities for growth within the kitchen, including potential advancement to the fry station.
Responsibilities
- Remove dining room chairs from on top of the tables and wipe table tops and booth seats.
- Windex glass doors.
- Sweep trash up from the parking lot.
- Ensure all paper towels and soap dispensers are full and functioning.
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans by hand or using a dish machine.
- Maintain a clean area around the dishwashing station, keeping walls free of food build-up and stains.
- Remove trash from the kitchen, restrooms, and bar and place it in the dumpster.
- Follow health department guidelines regarding food safety and cleanliness.
- Lift at least 50 lbs (e.g., sugar bags).
- Opportunity for growth to move to fry station and more.
Requirements
- Ability to work part-time hours (20-28 hours per week).
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
