About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and kitchen equipment using a dishwasher machine or by hand. This role supports the kitchen and food & beverage team by ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks in a warm, humid environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using a dishwasher or by hand.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing and kitchen areas.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of dishwashing machines and cleaning supplies.
  • Remove trash and recycling from kitchen and dining areas as needed.
  • Assist with basic food prep or kitchen tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations.
  • Restock clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in their proper areas.
  • Perform routine cleaning of kitchen equipment, floors, and surfaces.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to meet operational needs.
