About The Position

SAGE Dining Services® is seeking FT dishwashers for a high-volume kitchen serving 1200-1500 daily. This position requires maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests and involves various responsibilities related to kitchen cleanliness and dishwashing.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in a high-volume catering kitchen.
• Ability to understand directions and work independently as well as a team player.
• Experience in customer service strongly preferred, but not required.
• Food safety certifications as required by jurisdiction.
• Have knowledge of commercial dishwashing machines.
• Ability to properly set up a 3 compartment sink and commercial dishwasher.
• Endure exposure to extreme temperatures; intense heat and freezing cold.
• Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques always (HACCP).
• Be able to lift 50lbs without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
• Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile!
• Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled utensils, dishes and pots.
• Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.
• Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen.
• Assist cooks and chefs with kitchen cleanliness.
• Clean all work areas and customer service areas on an ongoing basis.
• Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.
