Dishwasher / Utility Kitchen Staff (Full-Time) Location: St. George Village, Roswell, GA Schedule: Flexible – No set days Note: We are not located on a bus line. Join the Team at St. George Village! Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Dishwasher / Utility Kitchen Staff member to support our culinary and dining operations. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen and dishwashing area to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for residents and staff.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment.
- Familiarity with proper cleaning, sanitizing, and equipment handling procedures.
- Ability to complete dish machine temperature logs and follow established protocols.
- Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a background check, drug screening, pre-employment physical, and TB exam.
- Strong commitment to safety and cleanliness.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize work areas including the dish station, food prep zones, and chemical storage areas.
- Wash and sanitize all kitchen utensils and food service equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Sweep, mop, and scrub floors and drains to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Set up, break down, and clean equipment related to food service operations.
- Practice “clean as you go” habits to ensure a neat, sanitary environment at all times.
- Maintain proper water temperature and cleanliness in sanitation basins.
- Remove trash from dietary service areas and transport to designated disposal locations.
