About The Position

The Dome in Virginia Beach is looking for dedicated and hardworking Dishwashers/Utility Workers to join our culinary team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen operation for concerts, private events, and high-volume food service. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to upholding the highest sanitation standards. This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00-$19.00. Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until April 17th 2026.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or catering setting is preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety procedures (training will be provided).

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing stations, kitchen areas, and storage spaces.
Assist with general kitchen duties, including trash removal, floor cleaning, and stocking supplies.
Help with food prep tasks as needed, such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients.
Ensure all workstations remain clean, stocked, and ready for service.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a hygienic work environment.
Assist with kitchen setup and breakdown before and after events.
Safely operate dishwashing machines, sinks, and other cleaning equipment.
