About The Position

Creative Dining Services at Washtenaw Community College is looking for a part time Dishwasher/ Utility worker. The Dishwasher maintains and sanitizes the kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment, utensils, dinnerware and floors in clean and orderly condition.

Standard hours:

Monday through Thursday 6:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Friday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and equipment to approved sanitation standards.
• Returns clean items back to their proper location.
• Sweeps, mops and performs general cleaning.
• Ensure trash bins are clean and emptied as needed
• Sweep and mop as needed
• Assist with cleaning back of house
