About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY Performs various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as dish and pot washing, general kitchen cleaning, and the storing of food and non-food supplies. Assists with Chef assigned meal prep duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Operates dishwashing machine to properly wash and sanitize all dishes, silverware, glasses, utensils, and cooking equipment. Maintains clean, sanitary, clutter free and safe environment in food services areas by sweeping, mopping and pressure washing floors, cleaning and sanitizing dish machine. Sets up and maintains dish and pot washing areas. Cleans production equipment as needed or directed by supervisor. Maintains or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards. Follows daily and weekly cleaning schedules. Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures. Attends all in-services as required. Records and maintains documentation for the following measures for service standards and regulatory compliance. Manually records dish machine(s) temperatures and sanitizer strength Manually records pot and pan sink temperature and sanitizer strength Assists in receiving of food and non-food supplies. Assists with food prep tasks as directed by the Chef. Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
