The Dishwasher Steward is responsible for cleaning, transporting, and storing all china, glassware, and silverware, as well as maintaining cleanliness in all kitchen areas and the back dock. The role requires a professional demeanor, courtesy, and respect towards guests and associates, acting as a guest relations ambassador. Adherence to hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality, and attendance is essential. The individual should be adaptable to change, willing to learn new skills, able to solve routine problems, and proactive in seeking help when needed. Strict adherence to hotel security policies and procedures, including key controls, safe lifting practices, chemical handling, and reporting safety hazards, is also required.
