DISHWASHER / PREP COOK – JOIN OUR KITCHEN TEAM! 👨‍🍳 Courtyard Newark – University of Delaware Are you dependable, hardworking, and take pride in keeping things spotless and organized? Our award-winning Courtyard team is looking for a Dishwasher/Prep Cook to help keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. This behind-the-scenes role is essential to delivering the quality and consistency our guests have come to expect! What You’ll Do Operate the dishwashing machine and hand-wash pots, pans, and utensils following hotel and brand standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, equipment, and tools Assist with daily food prep — chopping, portioning, and setting up cold food stations Prepare and plate cold menu items such as salads, fruits, cheeses, dressings, and desserts according to presentation standards Organize and rotate stock, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and labeled Properly handle and store cleaning supplies and chemicals in compliance with OSHA and hotel safety requirements Support the culinary team by helping wherever needed — teamwork makes the dream work!
