About The Position
Quail Park Residences of Visalia Memory Care, part of the Living Care family, is seeking a reliable Dishwasher / Prep Cook (Kitchen Assistant) to support our dining team serving residents in a memory care environment. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and assisting with meal preparation and service for older adults.
Requirements
- Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check, TB test, and pre-employment screening
- Strong reliability and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of dish room and kitchen areas
- Assist with basic food prep and meal tray setup
- Dispose of garbage and recycling throughout shifts
- Record dish machine temperatures and report issues
- Support cooks and dining staff during meal service
