About the position

Responsibilities
- Move empty food carts to each floor for removal of dirty trays at each meal.
- Pull food carts to floors at each meal for residents.
- Pull both sets of food carts up hallway after each meal in preparation for dietary aides to wash dishes and other utensils.
- Work at dish machine washing pots and pans and cooking utensils.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Empty all trash cans and sanitize them after each meal.
- Remove garbage and place in containers outside the area.
- Clean dish machine after each meal.
- Dismantle and clean each piece of the machine at the end of the day.
- Fill mop bucket up in the morning and put together machine for use.
- Perform any other duty as directed by dietary Manager or Evening Supervisor.
- Adhere to sanitation standards of Good Shepherd Nursing Home LC and daily cleaning schedule.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent to G.E.D.
