About The Position

The Dishwasher position is a part-time role focused on maintaining cleanliness and organization in kitchen areas and equipment. The role involves ensuring that all dishware, glassware, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, while also supporting the overall efficiency of kitchen operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Prior restaurant or cleaning experience preferred (6 months to 1 year).
• Experience working with cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas and equipment.
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment and prepare tableware for washing.
• Set up and operate the dishwashing machine, ensuring proper levels of detergent and temperature.
• Handle the removal of garbage and refuse, and perform mopping and sweeping of floors.
• Wash, stack, and store china and other dishware in appropriate kitchen areas.
• Collect soiled pots, wash, and restack cleaned pots on shelves.
