The position involves maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition. Key job functions include scraping food from dirty dishes, washing them by hand or using a dishwasher, cleaning and restocking the service bar area, washing pots and pans, sweeping and mopping the kitchen, washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat areas, segregating and removing trash, steam cleaning garbage cans, sorting bottles, polishing silver, and transferring supplies and equipment. The employee must abide by all safety requirements as outlined in the Safety Manual or as required by individual departments.
