Responsibilities

• Understand and respond to internal guests' needs.
• Communicate in a friendly, respectful, and understandable manner.
• Provide consistent, timely, and accurate information to guests.
• Use outlined service behaviors when encountering guests.
• Meet expected service delivery times as defined by department standards.
• Cooperate with employees within the department and other departments.
• Prepare tableware for washing, including scraping plates and pre-soaking silver.
• Set up the dishwashing machine, ensuring drains are closed and tanks are filled.
• Wash dishes and stack/store china in the appropriate kitchen area.
• Thoroughly clean dishwashing equipment and working areas.
• Collect and wash soiled pots, restacking cleaned pots on shelves.
• Remove garbage and refuse from the work area.
• Mop and sweep floors, wash walls and ceiling tiles, and sanitize cooking equipment.
