About The Position
Nothing Bundt Cakes Nashville is hiring a part time/full time Dishwasher! Perks include: Perfect hours for a balanced work schedule; closed on Sundays and major holidays! Employee Discounts on Bundt Cake and Retail Casual Uniform Fun and joyful environment Part time dishwashers will be scheduled 15-25 hours per week Monday-Saturday. Shifts times may vary and are flexible to your availability! Full time dishwashers will be scheduled 30 hours minimum per week will health, dental, and vision benefits available. Hours and days are flexible. Pay range is based on experience. This position requires good physical stamina, as you will be active and on your feet several hours at a time. Our business operating hours are Monday-Wednesday 9am - 6pm, Thursday - Saturday 9am - 7pm, and Sunday: 11am-4pm.
Requirements
- Is able to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents such as operating procedures and health and safety rules, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
- Has the ability to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require the strength to lift items of moderate to heavyweight (as much as 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time.
- Can evaluate processes, information, and surroundings to determine compliance with standards.
- Possesses the discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards.
- Is diligent, organized and self-motivated, with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
Nice To Haves
- previous experience as a Dishwasher or in another operational support role at a bakery, restaurant or foodservice environment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Washing all dishes, keeping all walls, floors, shelves and surfaces clean
- Assisting Baker and Froster with daily tasks and assisting other departments as needed
- Cleaning refrigerators, folding boxes, emptying trash and taking to dumpster
