About The Position

Nothing Bundt Cakes Nashville is seeking a part-time Dishwasher and Bakery Assistant. This role is crucial for maintaining cleanliness within the bakery, including washing all dishes, keeping surfaces clean, and assisting with general cleaning tasks such as cleaning refrigerators, folding boxes, and managing trash. The assistant will also support the Baker and Froster with daily tasks and other departments as needed. The position requires good physical stamina, as it involves being active and on your feet for several hours. Requirements

• Able to understand written and oral directions
• Able to interpret instructional documents such as operating procedures and health and safety rules
• Able to apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities
• Ability to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require the strength to lift items of moderate to heavyweight (as much as 50 pounds)
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to evaluate processes, information, and surroundings to determine compliance with standards
• Possesses the discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards
• Diligent, organized and self-motivated
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in another operational support role at a bakery, restaurant or foodservice environment
